Unfortunately, you can't land right in front of it. And what better place to look than the crystal towers you keep seeing. But the elder said that someone was calling out to you from the moon. You'll float by the same crystal castle and circular cave over and over again. It's rude.įirst thing you should notice flying about the moon is that it is very small. Because this is a fantasy world, and NASA doesn't exist. Just think, you'll be famous just like Neil Armstrong and those other guys no one's heard of. You're treated to some more state-of-the-art SNES effects, and then. When you're ready, hit the crystal and blast off to the moon. If you push the action button, you'll be able to fly the whale without taking off toward the moon. Before hitting the crystal, note that there's a control console directly in front of the crystal. Finally, you won't have to head to a chocobo nest every time you need to find a big chocobo. Head south in the ship even more and you'll find a giant chocobo. Step into one and you'll find it's a bed, and you can recover your health by napping in it. Head to the doorway that's down and you'll find a bunch of weird glowing pods. Before you observe it, have a look around. Once inside the ship, you'll see a glowing crystal. Don't just stand there, have a look for yourself. It turns out the Lunar Whale is a galactic ship with the capacity to be able to travel to the moon. The mages will all gather in praise in the tower in hopes to bring the Lunar Whale from its slumber. The Mysidian Legend will scroll across the screen again, reinforcing the fact that Cecil is the chosen one in the legend. Before you can even make your way forward, you're confronted by the Elder and his two companions who want you to join them in the Tower of Worship. At this point, fly the airship to Mysidia. ![]() It'll leave you a new arrangement of powerful summons and, soon, a sword that strikes fear into the heart of evil. ![]() While not necessary, it's certainly suggested that you complete the optional side quests prior to heading back to Mysidia.
