ABF gives you 3 days to load and once your stuff arrives they give you 3 days to unload before the pick the relocube up. If you're close to the terminal it's best to drive there and load the stuff yourself, it's saved us $458.00. Didn't have to pay anything until our relocube was delivered to our destination. We rented a cargo van from enterprise for a day and took our stuff to the terminal and loaded our relocube and had the cube delivered to our destination in Texas. They gave us a 5-7 day time frame for our stuff to be delivered it arrived in 3 days. None of my things were broken, scratched or anything. We must say ABF was very reasonable, and very good. It was our first big move out of state and we were scared as to who to use. For storage needs, you can work with a U-Pack rep to identify the best cost and option for your situation. The companys moving price includes everything from transportation to equipment and delivery to coverage. Hi we used ABF a couple of weeks ago with our move to Texas From New Jersey. The average cost to move with U-Pack is approximately 4,500. Does anyone have experience with either company and trying to negotiate the absolute best price? We also considered ABF and Estes but we would prefer the container for storage as well. I didn't really haggle a whole lot but they both said this is the best they can do since its so far. PODS was roughly $3300 for the same size. Does anyone have experience with pricing for either of these guys? So far the best we have is a $2700 quote from PackRat to go from New York to Utah, in a 16 foot container. We are mainly interested in the PODS or PackRat style container just due to the ease of moving. My family and I are currently looking into different moving options for a cross country move.
